So I've now put together a total three Javascript tools for CoH.
They're pretty bare-bones and self-explanatory; they simply run in your web-browser.
I'm not sure they're necessary in any way really, but I think they might be a method to quickly get familiar with the generation and sequencing systems in the game.
Anyway, I've posted the first two here and there on the forum but seeing as I've finished the third (and last) one now, I thought I'd post them all in one place:
Character Generator
Does all the rolling, adding on and looking up for homeland, traits, demeanours, features, ranks and professions.

Scenario Generator/Scratchpad
Does all the rolling and looking up for the scenario components.
You can type all your ideas into text boxes then reformat the page a bit for printing off when you're done.

Combat Sequencer
Lets you add a bunch of characters to a list, note their B, Q, Spent Brawn and Amour, then simply click buttons to reorder them as required during a fight.

I'm enjoying these a lot, but haven't yet tried them in play.
I am concerned about one thing with the character generator. One of my careful design considerations, borne out by multiple observations, is the precise sequence of steps. In other words, I don't want anything to be known about a given step until everything before that is in place. That includes the name.
I'd be fully enthusiastic about this tool if it kept the steps after the one the user is filling in invisible. Is that possible?
For info in case anyone's keeping track, the character generator now does what Ron has asked for.
Each step is hidden until the previous one is finished with.

OK, make that four tools... :)
