I've been working on my own unified model for role-playing games. I'm going to say right now that I'm not the most experienced (as can be evidenced by my mostly incoherent posts here), but I am absolutely fascinated by GMing (will be running Call of Cthulhu next week) and RPG development.

So here it is: A pretty and fairly detailed work-in-progress model which begins to answer a few of my questions about RPGs.

My main area for development right now is finding good categories and example) for active and passive techniques (the current 8 are definitely not final).

Nikolai,
I'll be interested to see how it goes as you unpack your terms. I tend to get lost in words that are floating in cultural context instead of grounded in observable behaviors or qualities. I hope to learn something from your work as it progresses.
