In prepping to playtest, I thought it would be handy to pull out an index of spell names for quick-reference/memory jogging purposes.

I'm thinking rather than flipping back and forth through the rulebook in the heat of battle or what-have-you, a Wizard's player can quickly scan the lists ("Ooh, 'Contort' - forgot about that one...") then look up the detail on anything that catches their eye.

I'd plan to lay them out in a table or something similar, maybe all on one page, or possibly on two sides of a single reference sheet.

Anyway, don't know if it's any use but having the reformatting I thought I'd share, in case it makes life slightly easier for anyone thinking of doing something similar.

Try this one - on one sheet, internally organized by casting type as well.

For anyone doing something like this, I strongly recommend not including a brief spell description with the names. Players will always read those and interpret them in messed-up ways, usually broken, and insist "that's what it says," or aggrievedly argue that they wouldn't have cast it if they'd known how it worked as opposed to what they assumed based on three words.

The list organized strictly by mechanics, and the separate printout that I recommend on the first page of the playtest - those, and those alone, will do you really well in play.

Cool! Thanks, Ron.
I'm thinking of a character sheet with the details on the front and the spells on the back, so that's very handy.
