Over at Story Games I started a discussion aimed at creating a complete Oracle with images derived from Robert Howard's Conan stories
( [IaWA] Help me create a Conan Oracle http://www.story-games.com/forums/comments.php?DiscussionID=5688&page=1#Item_1 (http://www.story-games.com/forums/comments.php?DiscussionID=5688&page=1#Item_1) ).
I've studied the existing Oracle listings and haven't really derived any clear patterns yet. So Vincent, I wondered if you had any particular principles for types or themes -- does each suit have a particular theme? What about face and number cards? Did you have any rules of thumb for distribution of situations, etc.?
Vincent pretty much answers this question at the tail end of this thread: http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/index.php?topic=25652.0
I love the idea of a Howard-only Conan oracle, by the way. I'll contribute if I can.
