Title: new here, waiting for my copy of DitV
Post by: Paladin3970 on September 09, 2008, 09:39:23 PM
Hello all,

I ran across a reference to DitV on rpg.net. It has been over 20 years since I last played an RPG - D&D Basic/Expert, a little Gamma World 1e. Thought the basis of DitV was intriguing so I ordered my own copy and should be receiving it before too long. I hadn't really even considered an Old West setting until I read about DitV so I am look forward to getting my copy.

Out of curiosity, any DitV PBP games around?

I haven't heard of a play-by-post Dogs In The Vineyard game. I think the See and Raise rules (with pushing dice forward from a pool) would make it difficult.

I do hope you like Dogs. It's a great game.

I saw one PBP Dogs game attempted over at Snail'sPace (http://snailspace.forgreatjustice.net/), but I think it faded and died.

I'd be interested in a PBP Dogs game, though.
