This is a chapter from the book; it's about how and why alchemy works within the setting.
Feedback, critiques, and questions are welcome.

What kind of feedback are you looking for?
Before I could give feedback, I'd want to know the context in which I'd be reading this. What brought me to this page? Creating an alchemist character? Pondering which setting features I'll include in my campaign as GM? I assume there are many possible answers, but it'd help me to know the few most likely ones.
This is descriptive setting information. So it is useful for a GM as it informs how these things work within the setting itself, and for players such that they have a framework for how they develop and interact with this narrative component.
Oh, in terms of what I'm looking for - just things that jump out as erroneous or sounding like it shouldn't or doesn't work. Yes its a fictional setting and it can be subjective, but I'm trying to sound out how it feels to people.
