Alas, I was not able to make it to Gencon. After hearing about a new version of Poison'd, I got excited and bought the existing pdf. There was a note about how the pdfs would be changed to reflect this. I've read the game, and I'm intrigued but also a little bit in the dark as far as a few details go. Now I'm just wondering when the new version will be available online and if it will clarify things for me.

Don't mind me, I'm loving the game, just a little impatient to play!
